Known for their body-slimming services, SLIM wanted their interior to reflect the sleek, modern, and confidence-inspiring results they offer to their clients.

Our team delivered a full-scope renovation that included floor preparation, SPC flooring installation, wall enhancements, and custom lighting features—all tailored to align with SLIM’s aesthetic and functional goals.

Step-by-Step Renovation Details:

1. Surface Preparation:

   • We began by inspecting and preparing the subfloor. Uneven sections were corrected using self-leveling cement to ensure a stable base for the flooring.

2. SPC Flooring Installation:

   • High-quality SPC (Stone Plastic Composite) flooring in a light oak finish was chosen to complement the minimalist and clean design. The result is a warm, professional space with easy-to-maintain, durable surfaces.

3. Painting Work:

   • All walls and trims were freshly painted in smooth white to match the clean, bright style of the clinic. The fresh paint helped bring out the new design and lighting features even more.

4. Wall and Lighting Design:

   • One of the highlights of this project was the curved LED feature wall. Our team carefully installed integrated lighting to create a glowing, wave-like effect that adds depth and sophistication. This standout detail enhances the customer experience from the moment they step through the door.

5. Custom Finish Work:

   • Attention was given to every detail—from edging and corner finishes to door thresholds—to ensure a clean and polished result throughout the space.

Today, we're excited to talk about our window treatment project in a British-style detached house on Grand Britania Wongwaen– Ramintra, Bangkok, featuring a soft cream-white interior theme.

We've selected S-curve curtains for this project with a linen-like texture, creating a natural and cozy vibe. When sunlight hits the fabric, these dimout curtains (cream) adopt a creamy hue that harmonizes beautifully with the house's color scheme. It's worth noting that the inner layer of these two-layered curtains consists of white sheer curtains.

For the house's upper floor, we've designed curtains crafted from 100% light-blocking gray fabric. These curtains are particularly ideal for bedrooms, creating a calming and restful atmosphere.

Adding Depth and Beauty with Two-Layer Curtains

In all the living rooms and bedrooms, we added double-layered curtains, enhancing the interior beauty and depth. The sheer curtains filter light, allowing a soft glow and providing a bit of privacy when the dimout and blackout curtains are open. Double-layered curtains also contribute to energy savings by offering better insulation.

The Casa Grand Onnuch-Wongwaen project shows our dedication to combining beauty and function in our window coverings. Each piece was chosen to enhance the home’s decor, making the spaces more comfortable and visually appealing. Living Room

The living room features two-layered curtains with sheer and dimout fabrics. This setup allows for flexible light control, offering both privacy and natural light when needed. The gray curtains add to the room’s peaceful and elegant feel.

Dining Area

In the dining area, we installed basswood blinds that match the wooden walls. These blinds can be adjusted to let in just the right amount of light and offer a partial view of the garden through the slats.

Bedroom

For the bedroom, we chose light gray dimout curtains that create a calm atmosphere. Although they are light in color, they completely block out light due to the black dope-dyed yarn fabric in the middle, ensuring a good night's sleep.

Flex Room and Staircase

The flex room and staircase are decorated with wooden blinds that match the home’s wooden accents. These blinds are practical for light control and add a modern touch to the spaces.

Walk-in Closet and Makeup Room

In the walk-in closet and makeup room, we also installed wooden blinds. They provide privacy and light control, making these personal spaces both functional and stylish.

Introduction
We were initially contacted to design and install motorized roller shades for an apartment at Whisdom The Forestias. After meeting the owner, he requested additional interior work, and as a comprehensive home interior solution, we were delighted to take on more projects to enhance the apartment's aesthetics and functionality. Throughout the process, we communicated with the owner, who had to leave Thailand and was abroad while we managed his interior project here in Bangkok in his absence. 

Media TV Frame Installation, Wall Mounting, and Electrical

The first task was installing a media frame box for the TV on the wall in the living room. We had to obtain approval from the building's juristic office to cut into the wall. After finding a media frame that fit the 10 cm wide wall, we ordered it from abroad. Our electrical team then installed the frame, connected the wiring, and set up the TV on the wall, achieving a minimalist look. Lastly, our electricians routed the wiring to the installation points for the electric motors, allowing them to be connected directly to the power supply.

Curtain Box Installation

Next, we installed curtain boxes to cover the roller shades above the windows. The existing cover boxes needed extending to accommodate the two-layer motorized roller shades, which required 25 cm of space. We reinforced the ceiling with thick plywood to support the heavy blinds and electric motors. Our interior carpenter team expertly handled this task, ensuring a seamless finish.

We installed two-layered motorized roller shades: a 100% blackout layer and an outer sheer layer. These were installed on large windows in the living room and the windows in the master and guest bedrooms. For the expansive living room window, we used both large and small roller shades to cover the entire area since it wasn’t doable with just one set of wide roller shades. But for the bedrooms’ windows and one of the living room windows, we were able to cover the entire windows with just one set of roller shades. The widest motorized roller shades available in the market by us (Cher Decor) with a width of 370 cm.

Rail Channels and Window Handles

To ensure complete light blocking, we added rail channels on the sides of the window frames. This required changing the window handles, as the original ones protruded too much. After an extensive search, we located suitable handles from a dealer in Northern Thailand, as there were no options available in Bangkok. The new, narrower handles were installed, fitting within the window frame without protruding, allowing the shades to slide smoothly through their rail channels and achieve the desired light-blocking effect.

Studio Speaker Installation

We also helped our client by installing studio speakers in the corners of his rooms.

Painting

The owner wanted a unique purple color for the kitchen, which was difficult to find locally. After extensive searching, we located this specific American brand color. We also painted the living room in a gray shade with a hint of lavender as requested by our client.

Ordering King Size Bed and Free Delivery

We assisted our client in ordering a high-quality king-size bed for the master bedroom, leveraging our industry connections to secure a great deal with complimentary pillows and bed sheets. We delivered the bed and accessories after thoroughly cleaning the apartment.

In this post, I'm eager to share our latest endeavor at Grandio Sathorn (Bangkok). This project's interior design was inspired by the Muji Minimalist Style, a trend that's currently gaining substantial traction in Thailand. Before we delve into the specifics of our window treatments and curtain installations in this project, let's take a moment to familiarize those who might be unfamiliar with the popular Muji Minimalist Style.

What is Japanese Minimalism? 

Japanese minimalism is about keeping things simple and clean. It comes from Zen Buddhism and can be seen in everything from buildings to clothes. A good example is the Muji style from Japan. It's all about simple design, using what you need, and being kind to the environment. Think clean lines, neutral colors, and natural materials. A home decorated in Muji Style feels calm, tidy, and welcoming - the perfect place to relax after a busy day. That's the beauty of Japanese minimalism - finding peace in simplicity. Grandio Sathorn Curtains and Roller Shades Project

When working on a Muji Minimalist Style home, we selected curtain colors and designs to complement the unique feel of each room, maintaining a harmonious color scheme throughout the living spaces. In the bedroom, we opted for two-layered curtains. We used premium voile sheer curtains for the inner layer, and for the outer layer, we chose brown blackout curtains. These curtains matched the room's color tones while ensuring a perfect light block for peaceful rest—a crucial aspect of Muji Style. 

In lighter areas like the hallways, where privacy is less concerned, we chose sheer roller shades in bright cream colors to match the bright off-white wall colors. For the living room on the ground level, we installed beige curtains to echo the color of the large sofa. In the home office and dining room, we fitted basswood blinds that complemented the cabinetry and overall color scheme. We opted for faux wood blinds in the kitchen, which are waterproof and perfect for any kitchen or bathroom. Every choice was thoughtfully made to enhance the serene, minimalist aesthetic of the Muji Style.

Overall:

Our interior design team worked hand-in-hand with our client to ensure that our choices of neutral colors and elegant simplicity perfectly harmonized with their Muji Minimalist Interior design. The result of our window treatments met our ultimate goal - absolute client satisfaction. We are delighted to have had the privilege of creating and installing curtains for Ms. Kuhn Pim Pimmada, a renowned artist and singer from the 1990s. The inspiration behind this project was Ms. Pimmada’s deep affection and enthusiasm for nature and plants, which is reflected in the large number of flowers and plants found throughout her residence.

Moreover, the design of Ms. Pimmada’s modern house presented unique challenges. It is an open and cozy home, resembling a treehouse, a vision that requires careful execution. This family-owned mansion purchased decades ago but never lived in, had deteriorated significantly. Ms. Pimmada faced a tough decision to renovate or rebuild, opting for the latter; she chose to preserve the mansion's originality by retaining the main pillars and rebuilding the rest, which demanded architects' and interior design teams' expertise and creativity.

As part of the new modern design, she integrated additional windows and mirrors into the residence, creating an ambiance that resembles being atop a tree, with a breezy and elevated feel.

With every advantage comes a disadvantage; the open and window-filled design of modern houses can sometimes have disadvantages, such as compromising the privacy of the household. However, by designing and selecting the right curtains, you can have your privacy and still have enough sunlight shine through your living room windows to brighten up your day and get enough sunlight for your beautiful plants and flowers.

As curtains play a crucial role in maintaining privacy and controlling sunlight, at Cher Decor, we used our experience to select suitable curtains for each room to enhance the natural lighting while preserving privacy or use heavier drapes to add a cozy feel and block out light in the bedrooms. For instance, we decided to use sheer fabric curtains for the living room area since they only block up to 20-25 percent of light; this allows for more natural light while still maintaining privacy. Sheer curtains also let the households of the residents be able to see somehow what is going on outside the house.

In conclusion, as a professional design group, we always consider designing, making, and installing quality curtains that will complement the furniture and the overall décor of the room to impress our clients and their expectations. Hence, it's essential to consider all factors, such as color, pattern, fabric, and style, as well as the size and shape of the windows and the visual appearance and atmosphere of the entire home.

In our window dressing project at Setthasiri village, we've incorporated a combination of curtains and blinds, offering a variety of transparencies and styles. 

For the living and dining areas on the main floor, we selected gray-black color triple pinch pleat curtains to align with the customer’s preference for darker shades that coordinate with their furniture. During daylight hours, the blackout curtains can be drawn back, while the sheer curtains remain closed to obscure the view from the outside, ensuring privacy.

At the staircase, we've installed black wooden blinds, an ideal choice for decorating the compact windows in this limited space. These blinds are not only easy to operate but also serve as a stylish, space-efficient solution.

Upstairs, the three bedrooms are outfitted with dimout curtains in darker tones. The darker the fabric is, the more effective they are at blocking light, providing a significant level of darkness needed for sleep without a need to full blackout curtains. The dimout fabric, known for its softness, provides a more refined and graceful look compared to blackout curtains. Hence, when our clients prefer darker hues for their bedroom curtains and the room's decor is suited to such shades, we typically recommend dimout curtains that offer substantial light-blocking capabilities as an alternative to traditional blackout drapes. 

In this window treatment project in Nonthaburi, we installed wooden blinds on the windows of a compact, Japanese-style house, embodying the Muji aesthetic. This approach is an excellent choice for smaller homes or apartments seeking to harmonize simplicity with functionality. Known for their simple, sleek, and uncluttered design, Muji houses truly stand out.

For most windows in this project, we chose dark-colored wooden blinds. This helps them stand out against the wood furniture inside the house.

However, in the living room with wide windows, we've incorporated a dual-layer curtain arrangement alongside the wooden blinds. This dual-layer window dressing provides not only versatility and convenience but also a stylistic edge. It allows the residents to moderate the daylight filtering into the room. By drawing back the blackout curtain and leaving the sheer curtain untouched, they can allow more sunshine to fill the room throughout the day and still have some privacy. 

In the corridor, we've mounted high wooden blinds for the tall windows, and the entry door windows were also adorned with similar blinds. By choosing wooden blinds for the hallway, we aimed to optimize the limited available space, enabling easy passage by the blinds - a crucial consideration as blinds generally occupy less space compared to S-curve fabric curtains. Also, the aesthetic appeal of fabric curtains typically requires enough distance to appreciate their full beauty.

This article explores our project at Setthasiri Pattanakarn Village in Bangkok, showcasing our window dressing at one of the modern and beautiful houses in this village. In this particular project, we have installed various window treatments based on specific requirements and functionality. These include custom-made sheer curtains, sunscreen roller blinds, Roman shades, and more.

Let's begin with the window covering on the ground floor. we employed a mix of roller shades and sheer curtains. Sheer curtains and sheer shades are a fantastic option for creating a serene atmosphere and are particularly suitable for welcoming the morning sunlight. 

Additionally, to enhance the sense of spaciousness in the interior of the ground floor, we have adorned the kitchen island countertop with white stone, white color cabinetry, and white curtains. This combination of elements contributes to a spacious ambiance in the room.

On the house's upper level, a mix of eyelet curtain style and Roman shades in gray shades and brown color are featured. The Roman shades are specifically chosen for smaller windows that do not span from the ceiling to the floor. Their use contributes to a cozy and private atmosphere in the bedrooms, and they are simple to adjust by lifting or lowering as required. Alongside these, we installed two-layerd eyelet curtains with an inner sheer layer and an outer blackout layer, offering easy control over light and privacy levels.

In conclusion, our professional curtain design and installation have surpassed client expectations by selecting the appropriate window treatments, colors, and curtain designs for each space. The combination of sheer curtains, roller shades, and Roman shades allowed us to transform the mood and appearance of every space. We established a fashionable, bright atmosphere on the ground floor, while fostering a sense of coziness and privacy on the upper levels. Our selections were not only aesthetically pleasing but also offered effective control of light and privacy.

At this project, the interior of the house features predominantly white tones, creating a bright and pristine ambiance that seamlessly accommodates an array of vibrant furniture, curtains, and other decorative elements.

Downstairs, we crafted a modern curtain design that required sewing tall curtains from the ceiling to the floor, resulting in an illusion of heightened ceilings and an overall sense of spaciousness in the living room. The curtains were made using light gray fabrics, imbuing the space with a simplistic yet elegant touch. 

Additionally, we incorporated a layer of lightweight and breezy sheer curtains with a pleated pattern that seamlessly merged with the upper layer's design, which featured dimout curtains. The decision to opt for pleated sheer curtains stemmed from the limited space available for curtain installation in certain second-floor rooms due to the proximity of wall cabinets and windows. Pleated curtains proved to be an ideal choice for areas with spatial constraints.

Consequently, we extended the use of pleated sheer curtains to the ground floor as well. This ensured that when viewed from outside the building, there were no noticeable discrepancies in curtain designs. The introduction of these initial airy sheer curtains with distinct patterns harmonized exceptionally well with the design of the upper layer, comprising dimout curtains.

Lastly, we carefully crafted the window treatments for the prayer room and dressing room, incorporating wooden blinds that serve a dual purpose of light control and ease of maintenance. These blinds offer an effective solution for regulating the amount of light entering the rooms while also simplifying the cleaning process.

In conclusion, our venture into designing and installing window treatments at Setthasiri Krungthep Kreetha village has been a successful endeavor, showcasing our expertise in creating visually appealing and functional window treatments that enhance the overall ambiance of the homes. From the modern curtain designs on the ground floor to the incorporation of pleated sheer curtains for spatial constraints and the integration of wooden blinds in the prayer room and dressing room, we have achieved a harmonious and stylish result.
