Gray Curtains Magic at Mantana Taling Chan

Gray Curtains Elegance in Mantana's Muji Home

The Matana project is a high-end development of luxurious duplex single houses located in the center of Bangkok. As a renowned interior design firm specializing in luxury, we were honored to be chosen for the distinguished window treatment project of this residence, marking a significant engagement that transcended mere assignment.

Our involvement in the Matana project was not just a simple task; it was an immersive journey into the realm of luxury living. Every detail demanded meticulous attention, and each space within the home provided a platform for innovation and artistic expression.

During our meticulous visit to the house, our objective was clear: to determine the ideal wooden blinds, curtains, and color schemes that complement the design of the property. Through this process, we were able to identify that the house has a design aesthetic that aligns with Muji's style.

Muji is a Japanese style that is known for its minimalist and functional designs, which are characterized by simplicity, functionality, and natural materials. In addition to its design aesthetic, Muji is also known for its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Muji-style products are often made with environmentally friendly materials and are designed to be durable and long-lasting.

Therefore, the house incorporates a minimalist design approach that is consistent with the philosophy of the Muji style, emphasizing the use of natural materials. Consequently, most of the items in the house, including the wooden floors, furniture such as the sofa, and walls, are in natural brown hues.

Hence, in our design process, we opted for an aurora gray color for the dim-out curtains in order to create a striking contrast against the brown wood and white stone tiles in the kitchen and the main living room.

Living room adorned with double layer curtains, inner layer as a sheer and outer layer is gray dimout.

Furthermore, our designer team employed sheer curtains as an initial layer to ensure the household's privacy during the daytime when the dim-out curtains are opened to allow natural light into the space.

To infuse the Muji style design into the house's bathrooms, our team of designers utilized waterproof brown wooden blinds, which are durable and long-lasting materials. This addition was made to introduce brown hues into the space.

Another highlight of this project was the installation of dual-layer window treatment in the home office room, featuring wooden blinds as the inner layer and sheer curtains as the outer layer.

To sum up, choosing the appropriate curtain design and installation is a critical aspect for the style of the house in order to complement the furniture and design of the space while also providing functional benefits. As a team at Cher Decor, we remain committed to delivering successful projects that satisfy the needs of our clients.
